Kadoga Is Now Live in Munich 🐾

When I shared our Initial Launch Phase announcement earlier this month, Kadoga was just beginning its very first major chapter in Munich.

Today, I’m excited to share the next milestone: Kadoga is officially live in Munich!

We now have real members onboarded, profiles set up, and a small but growing community of pet owners who are ready to exchange care. This marks an important shift—from building in theory to building together.

What “live” means at Kadoga

Being live doesn’t mean everything is fully automated or finished. It means Kadoga is now operating as a real, active community, with me personally involved in making sure every exchange works well.

At this stage, being live means:

• Real members have joined and completed onboarding

• Profiles are reviewed and approved by hand

• The Kadoga Member Area is open

• Pet sit requests can now be submitted and matched

For now, every pet sit is handled carefully and hands-on. I personally support the matching process, help members connect, and stay close to each exchange to make sure it runs smoothly. This isn’t a shortcut; it’s intentional.

These early sits are about building trust, comfort, and shared expectations—both for pets and for the people caring for them. This phase gives Kadoga the space to learn, adjust, and improve thoughtfully. If you’re curious about how Kadoga works, you can read more here.

A growing community, built with care

What’s been especially encouraging over the past weeks is who has joined Kadoga.

These early members are Munich pet owners who:

• Want a more personal alternative to traditional pet sitting

• Care deeply about who looks after their animals

• Are open to helping others in return, not just receiving help

Kadoga works because members play both roles of pet owner and pet sitter over time. That shared responsibility is what keeps the community fair, affordable, and rooted in reciprocity.

The next milestone: our first pet sit

There’s one milestone I’m especially looking forward to: our first pet sit exchange.

This will be the moment Kadoga truly comes to life. It will be the first time when two members connect, trust is built, and Kadoga Points move between them. This is also when the foundation of our Trusted Network will form.

Once that first “Trust” action happens, every future pet sit will become easier. Familiar faces will soon emerge, and trusted connections will form between members. The community will strengthen with each exchange.

What happens next

Over the coming weeks and months, the focus remains simple:

• Support early members closely

• Help facilitate the first pet sits

• Gather feedback and refine the experience

Kadoga will remain free during this early period, so we can focus on getting the experience right before asking anyone to pay.

Once pet sits are happening consistently across Munich, the first 50 paying members will be invited to lock in the €49 / year Founding Member rate for life.
