Hi, I’m Aaron,
and this is Gus.
When I first moved to Munich from Canada in 2021, there were many things I had to do, and every day brought new challenges: learning German, getting my driver’s license, and finding my daily necessities all became an adventure.
As a dog owner, one of the biggest challenges was — and still is — finding proper care for my little Zwergpinscher, Gus. Services are often unreliable, and many are very expensive (up to €100 per day!).
A Hundepension is an option, but they have long wait lists and it feels like winning the lottery when I get a spot… but even then, they are located outside of the city center.
I have friends who can take care of Gus, but asking them feels like a burden, especially when I am travelling for longer periods of time. Many of them also don’t have pets, so there is no way for me to return the favour!
The more people I speak with, the more I realize I am not the only one with this problem. That’s why I am combining my passion for animals with my skills as a software engineer to create Kadoga, a community of dog owners who help each other out. You save money, build connections, and know your dog is cared for by someone you trust.
And yes — cat visits are included too.
How Kadoga Works

Join Kadoga for a small annual membership fee, set up your profile, and then get access to a trusted network of pet owners near you.

2. Request a Pet Sit
Planning a trip? Redeem your Kadoga Points to request a pet sitting and get connected with local members ready to help.

3. Pay it Forward
Take your turn and respond to requests from other members. Earn Kadoga Points when you watch another member’s dog (or visit their cat).

Building a community takes time, patience… and members! I am looking for the first 50 “Founding Members” in Munich. You'll be the first to try Kadoga and help shape the experience.
Founding Member benefits:
A lifetime price of €49 per year (~50% off the regular subscription price). I will never change the price for you as a way of saying thank you for your trust, and the first payment will not be due until Kadoga is ready to launch.
Reliable overnight care for your dog while you travel. You’ll also have the option to arrange cat visits if needed.
Regular newsletter updates on Kadoga’s progress until and after launch, a monthly “Ask Me Anything” call, and a member space with all of the answers to your questions that I collect along the way

You’re always in control. Kadoga only connects you with local members. You choose who looks after your pet, and over time you’ll build a Trusted Network so requests go first to people you already know.

Membership is €99 per year. Founding Members in Munich lock in €49 per year for life — less than the cost of one night with a sitter.

Kadoga Points (KP) are our community currency. You get a starter grant when you join, earn more by hosting or visiting pets, and spend them when you need care for your own.
