Hi, I’m Aaron,
and this is Gus.
When I moved from Canada to Munich in 2021, everything felt new—from learning German to just figuring out daily life. One of the biggest challenges has been finding proper care for my Zwergpinscher, Gus.
Pet services are often unreliable or extremely expensive (up to €100 per day!). Hundepensionen are an option, but spots are rare and usually far outside the city. Asking friends isn’t really sustainable either, especially for longer trips, and many don’t have pets themselves, so I can’t return the favour.
Talking with other dog owners made it clear I wasn’t alone. That’s what pushed me to build Kadoga — a simple, trusted way for neighbours to exchange pet sits and visits using a fair points system. You save money, meet local pet lovers, and know your dog is with someone you trust. And yes — cat visits are included as well.
We’re in our Initial Launch Phase, so joining is free for now. Once pet sits start, members will move to a paid plan — but early joiners will keep special founding-member benefits.
How Kadoga Works

1. Sign Up
Kadoga will be a paid annual membership, but during the Initial Launch Phase you can get started for free and set up your profile.

2. Request a Pet Sit
Once you have access to the Kadoga Member Area, request a pet sit and get connected with local members who can help.

3. Pay it Forward
Take your turn and respond to requests from other members. Earn Kadoga Points when you watch another member’s dog (or visit their cat).
We’re Just Getting Started
Building a community takes time, patience… and members! We are looking for the first 50 “Founding Members” in Munich. You'll be the first to try Kadoga and help shape the experience.
During the Initial Launch Phase:
Joining is free.
You’ll receive early access to the Kadoga Member Area and be able to exchange pet care.
Payments will only begin once pet sits are consistently happening.
Founding Member benefits:
A lifetime price of €49 per year.
A “Founding Member” badge on your profile
Regular newsletter updates on Kadoga’s progress during and after launch.
You will have an important role to play in building a service that will help pet parents in Munich and could expand across Germany… and one day, possibly even Europe!

You’re always in control. Kadoga only connects you with local members. You choose who looks after your pet, and over time you’ll build a Trusted Network so requests go first to people you already know.

Membership is €99 per year.
Founding Members in Munich lock in €49 per year for life.
During the Initial Launch Phase, joining and exchanging pet care is free. You will only be asked to pay once pet sits are happening consistently.

Kadoga Points (KP) are our community currency. You get a starter grant when you join, earn more by hosting or visiting pets, and spend them when you need care for your own.
